Emma Watson Almost Quit Harry Potter Franchise?

Joslyn Davis coming to you from the ClevverTV studio with Harry Potter news of years gone by that is finally being confirmed. Rumors were swirling a few years back that Emma Watson would not renew her contract and continue to play the character of Hermione. However, the possibility of Emma leaving the role had nothing to do with not loving Hermione. Emma recently explained to MTV that it really just came down to a scheduling conflict. Emma was dedicated to keeping her scholastic endeavors at the forefront of her priority list, and the first schedule she was handed didn’t accommodate for that. After some negotiations though, Emma says that Warner Brothers, the studio behind the HP franchise, “essentially moved the Harry Potter film schedule around [her] exam dates, which was amazing.” Emma is clearly very grateful, and she even says so adding that she feels extremely lucky and that “Warner Brothers has been very supportive of [her] keeping her education thing going.” Talk about a master multi-tasker. We’re guessing fans are glad that Emma stuck with the movie series.
