One of our all-time favorite reporters out there, Josh Horrowitz from MTV, nabbed some awesome scoop when he hit up the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” set a while back, giving fans a first look at what they can expect to see when this book-turned-movie hits the big screen. The cast on this film is pretty stellar and includes Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev, 3 Musketeers actor Logan Lerman, and Harry Potter alum Emma Watson. So why did Emma Watson, after so many years of playing Hermione Granger, choose this specific role. She revealed that she hadn’t actually read the book before hearing about the movie, but she said that a ton of her friends from Brown University were totally into it and when she told them she had the script, they were super excited. She added that she’s so glad about this movie and that she’d been waiting for this story, this script, this moment and these people to do it with her. Logan Lerman dished on his character, who he says has a lot of personal issues. He said making this movie is a pretty big deal for him.
