Well, it looks like Daniel Radcliffe, who’s horror thriller The Woman In Black opened to million this past weekend, is not the only Harry Potter star who is moving from fantasy to horror. Bloody-Disgusting.com is reporting that the Weinstein Company is in talks to make a Thanksgiving horror film, and they hope to land Emma Watson as the lead. Sorry horror fans, but this won’t be a full length version of the fake Thanksgiving trailer that director Eli Roth shot for the Grindhouse films. This film, called ‘Kristy,’ is being pegged as The Strangers on a college campus. Watson would play a college coed who stays in her dorm over Thanksgiving break, and is accosted by four masked assailants who might have bitten off more than they can chew. A director and shoot date have already been assigned, but no news yet on the casting decisions. Watson can next be seen in Summit Entertainment’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower hitting theaters sometime later this year.
