Emma Watson Talks The Bling Ring!

The cast of the upcoming film The Bling Ring is hard at work, shooting the Sofia Coppola-directed flick, and now, we’ve got a pretty stellar cast photo to get us pumped up! In the pic, we see Taissa Farmiga, Israel Broussard, Emma Watson, Katie Chang, and Claire Julien dressed in character, looking stylish as they walk down LA’s posh Robertson Blvd. The crew looks almost identical to their real-life counter parts, who are infamous for robbing the homes of celebrities like Paris Hilton, Megan Fox, and Lindsay Lohan. The real life bling ring stole millions of dollars worth of goodies, like clothing, accessories, and jewelry—which, we can clearly see reflected in this pic. As for how the film’s star, Harry Potter alum Emma Watson prepared for the gritty role, she explained to Entertainment Weekly, ”I just watched a ton of reality TV. I was doing an English course (at Brown University), so I would go from reading Virginia Woolf to (watching) Kim Kardashian. I kind of loved it, this mix of super-high and super-low culture. I think it was a nice balance.” The film has no release date yet, but it’s expected to make it’s way through the fall film festival circuit and hit theatres sometime in 2013.
